EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — A fire broke out at a liquor store in East St. Louis early Friday morning.
The incident occurred at Champion’s Liquor Store on North 18th and State Streets at around 1 a.m. Smoke was bellowing from the windows as firefighters worked to put the fire out.
There was an ambulance on scene but there were no reports of anyone being injured.
