ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A lawsuit accuses the Wentzville School District of hiding reports of a student being sexually assaulted.

According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the incident reportedly happened at Frontier Middle School with children between the ages of 11 and 12 years old.

The lawsuit claims district officials did not intervene when a sixth grade boy sexually harassed and assaulted one of his female classmates during the 2022-2023 school year.

It also says the school did not tell the girl’s parents and kept the students in the same classroom.

The boy was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual abuse and fourth-degree assault in St. Charles County juvenile court.

A spokesperson for Wentzville schools said they cannot comment.
