ST. LOUIS – A large three-alarm fire broke out in north St. Louis Monday evening.
The building was formerly St. Augustine Catholic Church on W. Herbert and Lismore Streets.
As of Monday night, crews were preparing for a potential collapse zone.
This church has been the scene of multiple fires. In a 2022 fire, the building was under renovation for a non-profit project.
There are no details on what may have caused the fire.
This is a developing story. More will be posted as it comes into the FOX 2 newsroom.
