Juvenile arrested in connection to Columbia, Mo. murder

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. – A juvenile was arrested on Wednesday in connection to a Columbia, Missouri, murder.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, the juvenile was found after a traffic stop in the 3100 block of US Highway 54 in Kingdom City, Missouri, around 2 p.m.

Police said during the stop, three vehicle occupants were inside the vehicle, including the juvenile wanted by Columbia PD for the April 11 murder.

The suspect is in custody at the Columbia Police Department and faces charges of second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence, and felony stealing. Police said the other vehicle occupants were released without charges.
