ST. LOUIS – The lawsuit by Janae Edmondson against St. Louis City and others. The trial has been postponed for at least a year.
When a car struck Janae in downtown St. Louis last February, she lost both of her legs. The civil lawsuit claims the city failed to maintain a safe intersection. At a motions hearing on Wednesday, both sides asked for the delay.
The trial had been set to start next month. Now it’s scheduled for March 3, 2025.
