Janae Edmondson lawsuit postponed for at least a year

ST. LOUIS – The lawsuit by Janae Edmondson against St. Louis City and others. The trial has been postponed for at least a year.

When a car struck Janae in downtown St. Louis last February, she lost both of her legs. The civil lawsuit claims the city failed to maintain a safe intersection. At a motions hearing on Wednesday, both sides asked for the delay.


Iron County sheriff resigns before start of civil trial over ‘street gang’ activities

The trial had been set to start next month. Now it’s scheduled for March 3, 2025.
