Israel hits Lebanon with new airstrikes as U.S. prepares to evacuate Americans

Israeli warplanes are striking Beirut’s southern suburbs relentlessly, reducing entire buildings to smoldering mountains of rubble, with the number of fatalities and injuries continuing to rise.
