SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources wants to celebrate a rare double cicada brood emergence in the state with an art contest.
The IDNR will host the “Everyone Belongs in Nature—Even Cicadas” art show at the Illinois State Fair in August.
Submissions are being accepted now through June 16.
Your artwork must be original. No AI-generated art will be accepted. The entry can be on paper or canvas. Photography will also be accepted.
