SPRINGFIELD, Ill.. – Art fills the Illinois governor’s mansion Monday morning in Springfield, with Sunday tours now underway.
The art was carefully curated by First Lady MK Pritzker, the Illinois State Museum, and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. Each art piece was created by Illinoisians to represent the state’s people and history.
Through February, the tour will also include an exhibit called ‘Noir Three,’ which celebrates black culture with art from eight award-winning artists. All reservations must be made here.
The exhibit is open every Sunday through March 17.
