(KTVI) A local organization is making sure veterans who served in Vietnam get their due.

The Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is kicking off its 2024 season, flying veterans to and from Washington, DC in a single day to visit the national memorials created in their honor.

The flights recognize those who served in World War II, Korea, and both Iraq wars.

The first flight of the 2024 season will be April 9. As Fox 2’s Jasmine Huda shows us, the organization is placing special emphasis on Vietnam veterans.
