ST. LOUIS – We made it to 100 degrees on Monday afternoon and will likely do that again Tuesday.

A Heat Advisory has been issued as peak afternoon heat indies will be between 105 and 110. Please stay cool and hydrated and limit time spent outdoors in the hottest hours of the day.

Overnight, there is a chance for rain and thunderstorms as a cold front sinks south. Best chances will be north of Interstate 70.

Wake-up temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid 70s.

Clouds, scattered showers, and storms will linger around the area on Wednesday. That will cool our temperatures very slightly, highs in the mid 90s.

With more sun on Thursday, highs will be back to the upper 90s. Then another cold front moves in Thursday night and Friday with rain chances and a stronger push of cooler air.

Highs Friday near 90s. A second cold front over the weekend will send highs back to the low to mid 80s for Labor Day.
