ST. LOUIS — Another summer-feeling day ahead but even warmer than yesterday. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to around 90 will challenge today’s record of 92, set in 2006.
Mostly clear and mild overnight, with lows once again in the 60s. On Monday, it will be dry and partly cloudy.
Temperatures will once again climb well into the 80s and clouds will increase a bit throughout the day. Late in the afternoon, we could even see a few isolated to widely scattered storms.
A strong system has the potential for severe weather on Tuesday afternoon and evening. For now, the threat is highest in central and northern Missouri but it’s still elevated across our region as well. We’ll fine-tune the details as Tuesday gets closer. Another chance of showers and storms on Thursday.
