GRANITE CITY, Ill. – Police say one person is in custody in a Granite City standoff, which has left several streets blocked off and some homes evacuated.
There is still a police presence along 22nd and 23rd Streets, which are blocked off.
It has been reported that some residents have been evacuated from their homes. Police say they are working diligently to ensure the scene is as safe as possible before residents can go back into their homes.
