ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The founders of the first St. Patrick’s Day parade are being honored next month.
Remaining founders Jim Mohan, Jim Sheerin, and Tim Weiss will be honored as grand marshals of the 2024 event. As the cast of members that originally voted on the event, Smith and Weise initially had a plan to establish an Irish identity.
A final vote by the Joint St. Louis and St. Louis County Boards of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in 1983. For more information about the event, click here.
