Good Samaritans robbed overnight in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Two Good Samaritans were robbed overnight in north St. Louis while attempting to help two women who flagged them down, police say.

The robbery happened around 4 a.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of North Vandeventer Avenue in St. Louis’ Jeff-Vander Lou neighborhood.

Investigators say the victims, two men of ages 26 and 25, stopped to helped two woman standing outside of a black SUV.


Cold case investigators take prisoner to missing person search site

The victims approached the women with the intentions to assist them, though one woman produced a gun and announced a robbery. The victims had their cell phones and wallets stolen.

No suspect information is available at this time.
