ST. LOUIS – With Father’s Day coming up this weekend, Panera is giving away gift cards with a classic way to celebrate dads everywhere: dad jokes.
The company took to Instagram Monday to state that 50 people will receive a $25 gift card for sharing their cheesiest jokes in the comment section.
Over 1,100 people have already left their best joke, with some garnering popularity.
One user commented, “Me: The guests are here, where is the salad? Dad: You told me to toss it!”
Another said, “When does a joke become a ‘dad joke?’ When it becomes apparent.”
A different account left, “Where do penguins go to vote? The North Pole!”
