FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Two Peregrine Falcons are expecting the hatching of their baby chicks, and the public can now watch along too.
Ameren is providing a Falcon live stream, offering valuable insight into the behaviors of the unique species.
The Missouri Department of Conservation and World Bird Sanctuary are partnering with Ameren to combine their resources to protect and preserve the wildlife of the heartland.
“Our camera will provide a window into the nesting life of the world’s fastest creature, and I personally will find it hard to get any desk work done as I watch my favorite of the world’s bird species,” Jeff Meshach, director of World Bird Sanctuary, said on Ameren’s website.
