Gen Z prefers trade schools over four-year colleges

ST. LOUIS — It seems that Gen Z is increasingly favoring trade schools over traditional four-year colleges. One in-demand trade job is auto technicians. These schools are graduating students into an industry that faces a shortage of 37,000 positions per year.

Students claim that working in the trade field makes them less fearful of job outsourcing or replacement by artificial intelligence.
