ST. LOUIS – Clouds to start our Tuesday with a breezy kicking up as we start to clear in the afternoon. There is a very slight chance of a sprinkle squeezing out of our morning clouds.

Temperatures won’t move a lot Tuesday, highs will be in the upper 50s. Winds will ease in the evening as high pressure settles over the Bi-State.

Clear skies and light winds are the recipe for a big drop in temperatures overnight. Metro St. Louis will wake up Wednesday in the upper 30s, but surrounding more rural areas will drop closer to or even below 32, especially in Missouri.

A light freeze is expected Wednesday for much of the area west of the Mississippi River, except metro St. Louis. Far southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois will see widespread frost.

Another chilly day Wednesday, with highs near 60, and it will be a cold night into Thursday, with frost again likely. We will start to warm up again Thursday and Friday. Highs will be back in the 70s, and it won’t be as cold overnight.
