FOX C-6 School District considering 4-day school week

ARNOLD, Mo. – The FOX School District in Arnold is once again considering a 4-day school week. District officials brought up the idea last year as a way to cut costs, but discussions were postponed.

Fox C-Six has projected budget shortfalls due to dropping enrollment and the end of pandemic relief funds. According to FOX 2’s partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a community forum is being held Monday featuring a leading researcher on the 4-day week in education

There are 168 school districts in Missouri; about one-third have switched to a 4-day week.
