TROY, Ill. — Interstate 70 is closed after a crash near Old Staunton Road at mile marker 18. Eastbound I-70 and a portion of I-55 is shut down. The collision happened around 4 a.m. and there is a large traffic backup in the area.
A medical helicopter was dispatched to the area. Illinois State Police say that the collision was fatal.
