In four weeks, the Democratic National Committee will hold its convention where the party’s nearly 4,000 delegates will vote to formally nominate a candidate. With President Biden leaving the race, those delegates previously committed to him are now free to support someone else — but how exactly they will go about it is yet to be determined.
