JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – House Speaker Dean Plocher testified in front of the Ethics Committee Tuesday night for the first time since a complaint was filed against him.
This was the sixth time the bipartisan group of lawmakers met for hours behind closed doors. Plocher testified for nearly 90 minutes. He refused to take questions from reporters when leaving.
The committee plans to meet again Wednesday night.
