Endangered person advisory issued after teen leaves home

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Police Department issued an endangered person advisory late Sunday afternoon after a teenager left his home after making threats to harm himself.

According to police, the missing person incident occurred in the area of Bermuda Drive and Lammert Lane, which is located at the southwestern edge of Norwood Hills Country Club.

Police said Wyatt W. Morris, 17, left home after getting into an argument with his mother. Morris made suicidal statements and took with him cutting instruments.

Family said Morris has medical conditions that require medications, which he has not taken for a couple of months. He has previously attempted to harm himself.

Morris is described as a white male, standing 6’2″ tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, a fair complexion, and pierced ears. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and black shoes.

Anyone who has seen Wyatt or has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911 to reach their nearest law enforcement agency or contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
