ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Two individuals are facing charges after breaking into a dozen rental trucks and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of computers in August.

Janiya Coleman and Diamond Cooper are accused of illegally entering 12 separate rental trucks in Maryland Heights on Aug. 7. They stole a computer module from each dashboard, which individually was worth around $3,500.

Authorities went undercover and set up a transaction to buy the modules, which were being listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace, according to court documents. When police arrested the pair, Coleman admitted she and Cooper planned the theft.
