ST. LOUIS – One of the largest pizza companies will soon be offering coupons to use on future orders when customers leave a tip.
In a release from Domino’s Pizza, a new promotion called ‘You Tip, We Tip’ is coming to customers.
Beginning Monday, when customers tip their delivery driver $3 or more, Domino’s will offer a $3 credit to put towards the following week’s online delivery order.
“Domino’s drivers have been hustling to deliver hot, delicious pizzas since 1960, and we love that customers have been tipping them for their great service since day one,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a release. “But these days, everywhere you go, there’s a tip screen. The pressure to tip is real, even when no extra service is provided. So, we decided to flip the script and show our appreciation by tipping customers back.”
According to the release, Domino’s is the first of its kind to tip customers in return for tipping their delivery drivers.
In order to qualify for the coupon, tips must be given and redeemed on an online delivery order.
