FESTUS, Mo. — Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak is holding a press conference at 1:15 p.m. to brief the media on a homicide investigation involving two juvenile victims. The press conference will be streaming in this story on FOX2Now.com.
Police say that one juvenile victim was found in the parking lot. A second juvenile victim discovered at a different location south of Festus appears to be drowning. They have not yet been identified because police are still notifying family members about the deaths.
There is a heavy police presence in the parking lot at Festus City Hall. There is crime scene tape up. Investigators are gathered around two vehicles. An ambulance is also parked nearby.
