Detectives investigate Jennings fatal shooting

JENNINGS, Mo. – Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are investigating a homicide that happened Sunday afternoon in Jennings.

According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a county police spokeswoman, the shooting happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 9400 block of Auburn Drive.

Officers found the victim, a male in his late teens, had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
