FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – A 61-year-old Desloge, Missouri, woman died Monday afternoon after crashing her motorcycle on a rural highway in Franklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the crash took place around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 47, just west of Highway FF.
The highway patrol said Yvonica L. Waldrop was riding her 2005 Suzuki VS800 westbound on Hwy 47 when she failed to negotiate a curve, causing her bike to veer off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree.
Waldrop was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly after 12:50 p.m.
The crash report said Waldrop was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
