FLORISSANT, Mo. – Police have arrested and charged a man with stealing prescription drugs at a Florissant CVS Monday.

According to court documents, Tamik Chatman (age not specified) walked into the CVS on North Highway 67 and jumped over the counter where the prescription drugs were located. He retrieved five pill bottles and left the scene, with his phone falling out of his pocket in the parking lot.

Chatman began to drive away but went back to the CVS when he was unable to find his phone. The store manager notified the police that he had come back. When Chatman still couldn’t find his phone, he drove away again.

Chatman is charged with first-degree burglary, stealing a controlled substance, and resisting/interfering with arrest. He is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
