MADISON, Ill. – World Wide Technology Raceway hosted the 71st edition of the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby today. It was hosted in the infield of the oval that hosts NASCAR and Indycar races.
About 85 scouts brought their iconic pinewood derby cars to the facility today, to test them. Greater St. Louis Council Scouting Program Development Director Tom Kroenung says racing is a great way to get the kids involved in something fun.
