ST. LOUIS – Today, the Worldwide Technology Raceway is hosting an exciting event for Cub Scouts. It’s all about the 71st annual Pinewood Derby.
Hundreds of Cub Scouts will be racing their Pinewood cars, vying for a chance to compete in the St. Louis race on the Hill in June. Trophies will be awarded not only for the winners but also for cars that have the most realistic look, a unique design, or show scouting spirit.
The competition begins at 9:00 AM this morning. It costs $5 for scouts to enter, but admission is free for all spectators.
