ST. LOUIS – A fire heavily damaged a house overnight in south St. Louis.
It started just after midnight on Newport Avenue near Taft Avenue in the Bevo neighborhood.
Firefighters said that there was a heavy fire in the house because the residents were hoarders, filling the house with flammable items.
