ST. LOUIS – A crash has led to major traffic backups Tuesday morning for westbound drivers on Interstate 64 near Kingshighway Boulevard in St. Louis.
MoDOT’s Gateway Guide cameras show westbound traffic stalled on I-64 for a considerable distance.
It’s believed that multiple cars were involved in the crash.
Police and fire crews have arrived to the scene in efforts to investigate and clear the scene. Investigators have not yet disclosed how many people were involved in the crash or the extent of injuries for anyone involved.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes until the area is cleared.
