ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Crews are working to clear the scene of an apparent crash involving tractors and other vehicles on Interstate 70 near St. Charles Rock Road.
Traffic delays have been reported in both directions of I-70. Some lanes on westbound I-70 near the exit have been blocked.
It appears a crash involved a tractor-trailer hauling several tractors and at least one other vehicle.
A spokesperson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol tells FOX 2 that the tractor-trailer lost at least one tractor while traveling along I-70. The trailer was seen learning on a concrete barrier. One Jeep vehicle also rolled over off the highway, but it’s not quite clear if it was struck by a tractor or another vehicle.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, as crews work to clear the scene.
