Officials tell FOX 2 that it’s unclear how the bus and the crane came into contact. St. Louis Fire Department Captain Garon Mosby says he’s unsure why the crane would be low enough to the point where it might strike a bus.

A Metro “Call A Ride” bus came into contact with the crane and has been stopped around the area since the 2 p.m. hour. SkyFOX, powered by Bommarito Automotive Group, analyzed the scene around 3 p.m. Tuesday and learned of some traffic backups.

This is a developing story. FOX 2 will update as more information becomes available.
