ST. LOUIS – A cold front is beginning its pass through the region this Tuesday morning. A few light showers will be possible along and behind the front through the afternoon.

The front will also work to kick the heavier rain over southern Illinois off to the east. So, widespread beneficial rain isn’t in the cards. However, the front does bring welcome cooler temperatures.

A lot of clouds Tuesday, with highs in the low to mid-70s. We’ll be back to sunshine on both Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the low 70s. Out the door temperatures the next several mornings will be in the 40s for many.

Mid-70s for highs on Friday with the weekend looking a bit warmer. Not extreme, but back above normal. Next chance of rain looks to arrive next Tuesday.
