AUSTIN, Texas – St. Louis CITY SC rallied back late to force a 2-2 draw against Austin FC.
Célio Pompeu scored an equalizer in stoppage time during the game’s 93rd minute. Eduard Löwen also picked up his first goal of the game on a penalty kick. St. Louis never led in the game.
It was CITY’s first matchup in Austin since the first game of their inaugural season last year.
CITY moves to 1-2-0 with five points through three games in the 2024 MLS regular season.
