ST. LOUIS – While the City Museum already has a few Guinness World Record titles under their belt, they’re attempting to break another one.

On March 14, which is also known as St. Louis Day, the City Museum is inviting the public to break the world record of “Most People Wearing Underwear on Their Heads,” according to a release.

The current record comes from Naperville, IL, where 270 people participated in a “Captain Underpants” book party in 2012. City Museum said they want to break the record with 314 people, fitting for 314 day.

An official Guinness World Record adjudicator will be present to spectate the event.

For those who want to participate, or simply watch, they can visit the second floor in the vault room. The museum said they will pass out underwear to guests around 1:45 p.m., and an official count will be taken by 2:15 p.m.

Those joining in on the record-breaking attempt will have to wear the underwear on their heads for at least one minute when told to, and smile for photos.

General admission tickets are required to participate.

The City Museum said they currently hold the world record for the World’s Largest Pencil, the World’s Longest Seesaw, and the World’s Largest Tennis Racket.
