Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston’s mother, dies at age 91

Cissy Houston, the mother of Whitney Houston and a Grammy-winning singer herself, has died at the age of 91. Houston was under hospice care for Alzheimer’s disease and died at her home in New Jersey, according to her daughter-in-law. She was the aunt of singers Dionne and Dee Dee Warwick.
