Chesterfield movie theater manager accused of sexual contact with underage employee

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A movie theater manager is facing charges after allegedly engaging in sexual acts with an underage employee.

According to the Chesterfield Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crimes occurred between April and August 2024, at several locations including Bluebird Park in Ellisville and the movie theater itself.

Police said on August 24, the victim, who is under the age of 17, reported incidents involving Joshua Jung (age not provided).

Investigators learned the victim worked for Jung at Marcus Chesterfield Theater. Jung was taken into custody on August 27.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Jung with fourth-degree child molestation, second-degree statutory rape, and six counts of second-degree statutory sodomy. Jung remains jailed on a $500,000 cash-only bond. He’s due in court on September 4 for a bond reduction hearing.
