ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – An in-home caregiver accused of stealing $142K in jewelry from her elderly clients is facing a new charge connected to a third client.

According to the Crestwood Police Department’s probable cause statement, the theft occurred between April 16 and June 12 at the 93-year-old victim’s home.

Police said the victim’s granddaughter contacted police and said several swords and daggers, collected by her late grandfather over the years, had been stolen from a cabinet. The collection of swords and daggers is worth more than $13,000.

Investigators took fingerprints from the cabinet and identified Allishia Robinson (age not provided) as a possible suspect.

Robinson was taken into custody at the time and interviewed, but police said she admitted to nothing and refused to sign documentation informing her of her Miranda rights.

Robinson was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Robinson with one count of stealing – $750 or more. Robinson was jailed on a $250,000 cash-only bond. She’s due in court on Oct. 11 for a bond reduction hearing.
