ST. LOUIS – The Bi-State Development Agency Board has hired a new engineering firm to handle the next round of design work for the proposed MetroLink expansion.
According to our news partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, PGH Wong Engineering Inc. in San Francisco will be paid up to $18 million for the green line project.
Proposed as a nearly six-mile route, the Green Line project would connect St. Louis City’s north and south sides.
Total costs for building the line are expected to amount to more than $1 billion, but Bi-State is trying to lower it to around $850 million.
