ST. LOUIS – The gloomy weather has kept many people indoors this week. For those looking to get out of the house but stay indoors, the St. Louis Botanical Garden might just be the place.
The annual Orchid Show returns to the Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center’s Emerson Conservatory starting Saturday. The show runs until Feb. 25.
The all-indoor event is included with garden admission, and those who don’t have a membership are still welcome to join the event.
This once-a-year opportunity transforms into a tropical paradise, with nearly 700 unique kinds of orchids and over 5,000 individual plants represented.
From Feb. 8 to Feb. 22, the Orchid show will feature a light show, including live music, local breweries and distilleries.
