BALLWIN, Mo. – An investigation is underway after authorities recovered a body Friday afternoon from a pond at a Ballwin park.
Ballwin police and fire crews responded to the scene at Vlasis Park around 2:40 p.m. Friday.
Investigators say a person who was fishing noticed a body in the pond and called authorities. Police have not disclosed the victim’s name, age or gender.
The Ballwin Police Department is investigating the discovery, but says there is no danger to the public.
