Body found in north St. Louis, investigation launched

ST. LOUIS – An investigation has been launched after a body was found in north St. Louis on Monday morning.

The investigation began after police received a call a little after 11:40 a.m. Monday after the body of an unidentified woman was found on the 4200 block of North Market Street in the Ville neighborhood.

According to the investigators, the woman’s body was in the beginning stages of decomposition when she was found.
