Black Jack man shot to death over the weekend

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are investigating a fatal shooting in Black Jack.

According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a county police spokeswoman, the shooting occurred on Saturday, Oct. 5, in the 12100 block of Wensley Road.

Officers responded to a call for a shooting just after 5 p.m. and found the victim, Aaron Cameron, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Cameron was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was 37.


Non-U.S. citizens receive mailers urging their vote in presidential election

Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a domestic incident but did not elaborate further.

Panus said the investigation is still ongoing.
