ST. LOUIS – After upper 80s and low 90s the last two days, we are cooling things down again starting Friday.

A cold front will move south through the St. Louis region Friday, bringing us some scattered light showers and a few thundershowers through the morning.

Clouds that move in with the morning rain Friday will clear into the afternoon, and winds will swing to the northwest. Highs will be in the low 80s. Friday evening football, soccer, and Cardinals action will have temps in the 70s.

Saturday and Sunday will be lovely. Tons of sunshine and highs will only be in the low to mid 70s both days. Out the door morning temperatures will be down in the low 50s. Many areas away from metro St. Louis will wake up Sunday morning to temps in the 40s.

We will gradually warm up again next week. Highs will be back near 90 by Wednesday. Humidity looks to stay low, and there is no rain in the forecast. So, keep the sprinklers and hoses handy.
