Bicyclist hit by two cars on Hampton in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — On Thursday night in south St. Louis, two vehicles struck a bicyclist. It happened around midnight at Hampton and Elizabeth Avenues in the Clifton Heights neighborhood.

According to the authorities, a car and then another car struck the bicyclist as he was crossing the street. The fire department was able to quickly free the man who had become trapped under the second vehicle.

He was conscious and alert when taken to the hospital. Both drivers remained on the scene.
