ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – An East St. Louis, Illinois, man has been charged in connection with a 2022 bank robbery in Ferguson, Missouri.
The robbery took place on July 20, 2022, at the Great Southern Bank branch on West Florissant Avenue, according to the Ferguson Police Department’s probable cause statement.
Police claim Tadarrius Guyton walked into the bank and presented the teller with a note and a deposit slip. The note read, “I have a gun. Put the money in the bag and nobody get hurt.”
The teller complied and Guyton left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Guyton’s fingerprint was found on the deposit slip.
It’s unclear if Guyton (age not provided) is in custody.
